This area has literally dropped TONS of sediment (dirt) onto the Air Force Academy. AFA has attempted to stop it but the force of the water has been too great and destroyed their fixes. WOW! My takeaway is that stormwater is an issue and responsibility for those of us on the north side of COS.

This is North Douglas Creek under I-25 and Sinton Road. This severely damaged channel continues to threaten gas and utility lines as seen in video. The water flowing is base flow and storm water will more than fill that culvert and create dangerous conditions that are literally washing away the adjacent roads and property. Slowing water upstream will help this and protect the community
